Dr. Shubhra Saksena, MD

Having practiced Family Medicine for over 20 years, she has been recognized as a Northern Virginia Top Doctor.
Her friendly and caring approach continues to enjoy rave reviews from patients on various medical review websites. 

Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Saksena earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from UNC – Chapel Hill and her Doctorate of Medicine from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. (In case anyone is wondering, she is a Tarheel, of course!).
She was Chief Resident during her Family Practice residency training at Harrisburg Hospital, PA. She is Board Certified in Family Practice and has been practicing medicine since 2002 and in Fairfax County since 2005. 

She enjoys living in Fairfax County and the diverse culture it offers with her husband and two young sons. Between her medical practice and the kid's busy activities schedule, she enjoys travel, music, and relishes a good Sci- Fi movie, so feel free to make recommendations.
